In the late 80s the fresh, fun sound of The Traveling Wilburys came bursting out of our radios. Their instant, world-wide success was no fluke and no surprise, as this mysterious band of ‘unknowns’ was in fact a supergroup formed by some of the world’s most-beloved musicians.

Instigated by George Harrison and Jeff Lynne and joined by Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, and Roy Orbison, The Traveling Wilburys left their deep mark on pop music history.

Though The Wilburys never played live, their debut album won the 1990 Grammy for Best Rock Performance.

Now, The Wilbury legends show is coming to Swan Hill Town Hall and traces the careers of these five superstars, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty and Roy Orbison, who united almost by accident to remind the world of the roots of
rock ’n’ roll.

The show features all the Traveling Wilburys’ classics and a collection of smash hits by the individual artists with the irrepressible humour of the original act.

The Wilbury legends band members have worked with John Farnham, Air Supply, The Seekers, Olivia Newton-John, Sherbet, Ariel, Brian Cadd, Glenn Shorrock, Jimmy Barnes and Black Sorrows.

The Wilbury Legends show is an unforgettable night’s entertainment celebrating the jubilant sounds of the Traveling Wilburys.

The Wilbury Legends line-up stars

  • Field, See & Mason – an acclaimed harmony act with vocalists Lindsay Field, Sam See and Glyn Mason
  • Angus Burchall (drums) – from John Farnham Band
  • Adrian Scott (keyboards) – from Air Supply
  • Paul Cartwright (bass) – from Brian Cadd and Glen Shorrock bands

It’s an unforgettable night.
