Step into the bold, colorful and wildly imaginative world of Fast Fashun – an award-winning experimental art collective from Naarm (Melbourne) transforming fashion waste into unforgettable live performance.

Blending theatre, visual art, fashion and audience participation, Fast Fashun invites you to cut, rip, pin and strut your way through a playful exploration of consumer culture, sustainability and creativity.

Their visually spectacular performances combine humour, satire and immersive experiences to challenge our relationship with excess while celebrating self-expression and community.

Led by artists Teneille Clerke and Sebastian Berto, Fast Fashun creates inclusive, accessible experiences where queer and disabled perspectives are centered, ensuring everyone feels welcome to join the fun.

Their acclaimed works have been presented at Sydney Festival, Melbourne Fashion Festival, Midsumma, Geelong Design Week and venues across Australia. Winners of the Melbourne Fringe Artform Shaker Award and recognised with multiple Green Room Award nominations, Fast Fashun continues to redefine contemporary performance through bold ideas, inventive design and infectious energy.

  • Participants will use various methods of putting together an outfit… by styling or use safety pins
  • There will be sewing machines are available to anyone who feels confident using them or would like to learn basic skills on them.
  • The runway show will happen every hour on the hour.
